Modern Parenting and Wall Street
The Wall Street is synonymous with the cut throat backstabbing self serving lifestyle which the cynical amongst us use to keep our tiny tots in check.
Modern Parenting by a vast majority resembles the vast majority of investors in the stock market. They invest capital into the market and then pray that it gives good dividends. Similar to diversification of portfolios, the child is made to learn a multitude of skills/arts in a bid to minimize the risks of a volatile environment.
Lacking a sound financial knowledge (interpersonal skills) the investor (parent) is subject to what can't be better described than market risk.
